An educator who is passionate about technology. I’m in love with kindness, beauty, fairness, and peace. I love brainstorming, sharing stories and experiences, and working together to put hopes, dreams, and plans into actions. I care about making life impactful.
am a father of two beautiful kids and a husband of a lovely wife. We live in the eastern part of the most crowded island in Indonesia, the Java Island.
If you really have no idea where is it? Just head to this link.
Graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, I started my working career as a lecturer of a faculty of pharmacy in Yogyakarta. Yes, you are reading it right! I am a pharmacist & I spent my first 9 years of my career as a college teacher.
But wait, though I am a pharmacist, I've been building my skills on various interests that eventually brought my self here, in this moment. I always love computer, internet, writing, and art (mostly drawing).
"I am a pharmacist AND I love computer, internet, writing, and art ... and English language."
In 2009, things drove me to start doing things that had nothing to do with pharmaceutical routines, teaching in K-12 level until 2014. During these period, I realized that one of my biggest passion was teaching; in fact it started in year 2000, right after I became a pharmacist but decided to teach in college.
Here is what make me more passionate about teaching, the technology. Yes, technology holds the key of future education. Digital literacy is one of the most skills that everyone is striving for.
"Since then, everything around me is nothing else but education, school, teachers, students, parents ... and digital technology."
For the last over 10 years, I've been learning how technology can bring a better teaching that brings fun, but quality, learning experiences for everyone.
An educator that knows technology — this is my dream.
I do things like teaching, training, and developing. I teach and train students and teachers on how to use technology in educational settings.
I develop websites and LMSes (Learning Management Systems) for continuing education. I also am involved with a team to develop system that supports online teaching (streaming video, webinar).
What's more ... I currently also work with people to build a "Home of Hope" for kids. To teach them values, not grades!
It took me a while to finally meet my never-ceasing passion to reach more people and to do more. This site and everything in it are dedicated for people like you, who share the same passion with me.
Now, there are just so much stuff in my head that I'm determined to make them all come into existence.
I would love to have you all on board, to share ideas and build wonderful things.
